Team coaching is a well-blended synthesis of team facilitation, organizational consulting, organizational development, individual work, and team development work. The specific combination and approach used depends entirely on the formation of the team, what stage the team is at in its lifecycle, the organizational context in which it is nested. The coaching work plan tool includes space for identifying the client, the coaching goal, brainstorming ways to support the goal(s), how you will track progress, and any other notes. As you work through the coaching process, you can also note the progress that has been made and how you can support the client moving forward.

I've just finished reading an advance copy of The Dos and Don'ts of Work Team Coaching and found it a very useful book. This little book packs a lot of power in its small size, which makes it very handy for busy managers and employees.
It is easy to readfull of 5/5(1). A more helpful guide to team coaching is the recently released "Leadership Team Coaching" by Peter Hawkins. There's another very good book on teams - even if it isn't specifically on team coaching - called "The Wisdom of Teams" by Jon Work Team Coaching book & Douglas Smith/5(8).

This book which came out in is probably one of the first books dedicated directly to the topic of team coaching. I had the good fortune to interview David on the podcast back in episode # What 'Team Coaching' Means, and Why You Need It.
